The first Women's Tour of Britain comes to Bedford

You might have spotted on the news that the first ever Women's Tour to take place in Britain begins today in Northamptonshire, progressing through the East and ending in Bury St Edmunds. The riders will be in Bedford tomorrow and if you want to go and watch you can check the route and arrival times here. This is a big deal for female cycling, and participants will include the Olympic Champion Marianne Vos, who is one of the women who has been pushing for more equality within the sport - she's interviewed in this BBC article about the race.

If you do go I'd love to see some photos!
